Custom Neoprene Shipping, Delivery and Lead Times
Planning a custom printed neoprene order usually starts with one practical question: how long will it take to approve, produce and deliver? This page explains how we handle lead times, dispatch and returns for custom neoprene orders in Europe and the United Kingdom.
If you need a deadline checked before ordering, send us your quantity, thickness, finish and target date. The more precise the brief, the faster we can confirm the right production route.
Typical lead times for custom neoprene orders
- Ready-to-print repeat orders: many orders can move into preparation within 48 business hours when artwork is approved and no new development is required.
- New designs and prototypes: allow extra time for artwork review, scale checks, fitting tests and print approval.
- Complex finishing: zips, binding, lamination choices, reinforced edges and multi-part cut files increase handling time.
- Larger production runs: bulk quantities take longer than sample panels or short runs, especially when several materials or trims are combined.
What affects production timing
Lead time depends on more than quantity. The main variables are the neoprene type, thickness, print area, sewing plan and whether you are ordering full panels or cut components.
- Material choice: compare SBR, CR and other options on our neoprene types page.
- Artwork readiness: press-ready files move faster than files that still need resizing or bleed corrections. Our artwork guide helps reduce delays.
- Accessories and finishing: if your project needs binding, zips or technical trims, review our neoprene trimmings options before requesting a final quote.
- Sampling stage: prototype and small-run work is useful for fit approval, but it adds a decision step before full production.
Dispatch preparation
As long as there are no issues with files, stock or finishing requirements, we prepare and ship straightforward orders as quickly as possible. If anything affects timing, we contact you with the reason and the revised estimate before dispatch.
Delivery times after dispatch
We ship from Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. Even though we use air transport, final delivery times can vary depending on destination, customs routing and courier workload.
- Usual delivery: around 5 business days after dispatch.
- Longer deliveries: some shipments can take up to 10 business days during peak periods or logistical incidents.
- Tracking: when the carrier provides a tracking number, we send it so you can monitor the parcel status.
Shipping costs
Orders over EUR 300 ship free. For smaller orders, the price depends on destination and the number of panels.
| Destination | 1-2 panels | 2-6 panels | 7-12 panels |
|---|---|---|---|
| Canary Islands | EUR 4.75 | EUR 6.06 | EUR 6.51 |
| Mainland Spain | EUR 10.95 | EUR 13.65 | EUR 16.02 |
| European Union and United Kingdom | EUR 26.50 | EUR 30.47 | EUR 35.73 |
We do not ship to Ceuta or Melilla.
Taxes, IOSS and hidden costs
We are IOSS registered. That means the price paid for eligible destinations already includes the applicable indirect tax collected on behalf of the State. This helps avoid surprise customs charges and unnecessary paperwork for many orders.
Returns, reprints and quality issues
Custom neoprene is a production material, so returns are not handled the same way as standard retail goods. If there is a manufacturing issue, contact us quickly at hi@customneoprene.com with photos and order details.
- We only accept return requests notified within 7 days of delivery.
- Returned material must be unused, uncut and in perfect condition.
- For colour-sensitive jobs, we recommend testing before full production.
- If a print defect affects part of the order, we assess whether a partial reprint is the right solution.

Need more certainty before you place the order?
When delivery timing matters, a sample-first order often prevents expensive rework later. Start with the samples and prototype panels route, review the thickness guide, and then move into a larger run only when the material, artwork and construction path are clear.
Ordering from the United Kingdom?
If the order is UK-bound, use the more direct UK delivery for custom printed neoprene page before checkout. It narrows the delivery questions and links back to the right sample-first path when timing is tight.
